The holding company "Ruselectronics", a large company that is part of the state corporation Rostec, announced today that it will create more than 25,000 printed circuit boards for "smart intercoms". These boards will then be sent to other countries - Armenia, Belarus, and Tajikistan.
BPO "Progress", which is part of the Concern "Avtomatika" and operates within "Ruselectronics", is responsible for the production of printed circuit boards. All these companies are needed to create "smart intercoms" with a full set of security features in apartment buildings.
Printed circuit boards are used in "smart intercoms" that support facial recognition and provide access without the use of a key. Users can control the intercom through a special application on smartphones, receiving calls from guests. The apartment owner can see the visitor through the intercom camera, answer the call, and even open the door remotely.
The device's camera also functions as a surveillance camera, allowing residents to monitor what is happening on the porch and in the surrounding area. Also, all the history of guest visits is available to users of the "smart intercom", both invited and uninvited.
It is important to note that the usual intercom functions also remain available - the call can be answered via the handset in the hallway, and the entrance door can always be opened in the old-fashioned way with a magnetic key.
In the current environment, the demand for domestic printed circuit boards continues to grow. BPO "Progress" ensures high quality of products with significant output volumes thanks to a modern automatic assembly line, as well as through the use of automated optical, electrical, and X-ray production control
Nekrasov noted that this year, "Progress" also produced more than 1,100 boards for laptops of a Russian computer manufacturer.
