Armenia's Communications Market Earns More and More

Telecom market increased, while television and radio declined

The Statistical Committee of Armenia recorded an increase in revenues in the field of communications: in January–October 2025, the revenue of telecommunications companies, television and radio broadcasters reached 141.4 billion drams, which is 2.3% higher than the result a year earlier. The report shows that the overall market is growing, although individual areas are moving in different directions.

In October, the sector earned 14.6 billion drams — only 0.2% more than a year ago, but 1.8% less than September figures. The main contribution is provided by telecom: its share for ten months amounted to 131.7 billion drams, adding 2.7% to last year's period.

Meanwhile, television broadcasting brought 8.18 billion drams, decreasing by 3.8%, and the revenue of radio stations decreased by 3% — to 1.46 billion drams.

Despite the multidirectional dynamics, the overall result of the industry remains positive: telecom continues to pull the market up.
