Firebird Data Center Made Armenia Attractive for Investment

Authorities are negotiating with foreign companies to launch new AI projects

The AI data center project by Firebird has significantly increased Armenia's investment attractiveness for international companies working in the field of artificial intelligence. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, emphasizing that the initiative has become an important signal for the global market.

According to him, after the announcement and launch of the project, new partners, including foreign companies, showed interest in Armenia, considering the possibility of implementing similar AI projects in the country. Negotiations are currently underway with them, during which potential investors are studying what conditions, infrastructure, and regulatory environment the Armenian government can offer.

The names of the companies have not yet been disclosed, as the discussions are at a working stage. However, as Mantashyan noted, the very fact of such interest indicates that the Firebird project has become a kind of showcase of Armenia's capabilities in the field of high technology and is capable of triggering a chain reaction of new investments in AI infrastructure.
