Tashir Capital Will Not Negotiate with Armenian Authorities on Electric Networks

Since 2016, Electric Networks of Armenia has belonged to the Tashir Group

The company's CEO, Narek Karapetyan, stated that Tashir Capital does not plan to discuss the management of Electric Networks with the Armenian authorities.

Earlier, the Public Services Regulatory Commission revoked the company's license to manage ESA after the arrest of the head of the Tashir Group, Samvel Karapetyan, and the start of the company's nationalization process. Karapetyan noted that the Stockholm Arbitration Court prohibited the authorities from seizing the Electric Networks from the owner, and believes that Armenia is ignoring the decision of the international court for the first time at the behest of the Prime Minister.

Since 2016, Electric Networks of Armenia has belonged to the Tashir Group, founded by Samvel Karapetyan. The company managed distribution networks and invested hundreds of millions of dollars in their modernization, while the high-voltage infrastructure remained state-owned.
