The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia has announced the expansion of cooperation with the innovative company Eleveight AI. During a meeting between Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and the founder and CEO of the company, Arman Aleksanyan, programs for the development of AI in the country, the creation of data processing centers, and the development of high-performance computing infrastructure were discussed.
Hayrapetyan emphasized the state's priorities: the development of local AI infrastructure, the reduction of technological dependence, and the introduction of AI solutions in the public sector and business to stimulate the digital economy. Aleksanyan noted the strategic importance of the new generation data processing center, the implementation of which was made possible thanks to the US export license for modern graphics processors.
In addition, AI-as-a-Service and GPU-as-a-Service services, cloud platforms on renewable energy, as well as specific formats for further cooperation were discussed. The meeting was also attended by deputy ministers and heads of Eleveight AI, emphasizing their readiness to expand joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
