In Armenia, the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been replenished with new modern equipment. Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, together with the Director of the Service Kamo Tsutsulyan, inspected fire trucks, special equipment and technical means purchased for prompt response to emergency situations. In total, 8 fire and rescue vehicles and 10 vehicles for internal calls were received, which will be distributed among territorial units.
According to the Minister, the equipment and training of personnel directly affect the safety of citizens. The new equipment will allow rescuers to respond more quickly and effectively to fires, accidents and other threats to people's lives. In addition, this is a step towards further modernization of the entire material and technical base of the Service.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the equipment upgrade is only part of a large-scale program to strengthen the service's readiness for any emergency. The plans include continued procurement, raising the level of training of employees and the introduction of modern technologies, which makes the rescue system of Armenia one of the most equipped in the region.
