Azerbaijan supplies second batch of petroleum products to Armenia

Baku will send almost 4,000 tons of gasoline and diesel in early January

The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has confirmed the information from Azerbaijani media about the import of the second batch of petroleum products from Azerbaijan. The press secretary of the department, Lilit Shaboyan, confirmed the fact of delivery, without disclosing additional details.

According to media reports, it is planned to send 1,000 tons of A92 gasoline, the same amount of diesel fuel, and 1,800 tons of A95 gasoline from Baku to Armenia on January 8. This significantly exceeds the volume of the first batch delivered at the end of 2025: on December 19, a train with 22 wagons containing 1,218 tons of A95 gasoline arrived at the Ayrum station.

The transportation takes place through the territory of Georgia and indicates the continuing cooperation between the two countries in the field of fuel supplies, which is important for ensuring a stable energy balance in Armenia.
