Construction in Armenia hits record highs

Growth amounted to 20%

In January–November 2025, the volume of construction work in Armenia amounted to 644.6 billion drams, an increase of 20.1% compared to the same period in 2024. In November, the figure reached 93.2 billion drams, which is 17.2% more than a year earlier, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic.

The largest contribution was made by the state budget — 166.4 billion drams, or 25.8% of the total volume, an increase of 34.6% compared to last year. A significant volume was also provided by organizations — 298.96 billion drams (46.4%), the population — 141.89 billion drams (22%), communities and international loans — 5.4% each. A decline was noted only in humanitarian aid and international loans.

Construction of real estate (325.57 billion drams, 50.5%), transport (83.08 billion drams, 12.9%) and educational facilities (72.52 billion drams, 11.3%) are the leading activities. This growth indicates the stable development of the industry and an increase in investment in key sectors of the economy.
