From 2022 to 2025, 171 residents of Yerevan were injured in accidents involving electric scooters, according to the "Heratsi" analytical center. Most of the victims are men aged 18–30, and the peak of incidents occurs during the summer tourist months.
The statistics by year are as follows: 2022 — 69 cases, 2023 — 45, 2024 — 33, 2025 — 24. There is a clear decrease in the number of victims, but the data only reflects patients of University Hospital No. 1 and does not claim to provide a complete picture for the entire capital.
Analysts note that the decrease in injuries is due to legislative restrictions and greater discipline of electric scooter drivers who comply with traffic rules.
