Armenian-American TRIPP project will benefit the entire region

TRIPP will open new transport links and benefit Armenia and neighboring countries

Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan stated that the TRIPP project is being implemented exclusively in the format of Armenian-American cooperation and does not provide for the participation of third countries. At the same time, the launch of the initiative will bring regional and international benefits, affecting Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Central Asian countries and Europe.

Rubinyan emphasized that the recent document on the principles of creating the TRIPP company confirms that the project does not involve corridors through the territory of Armenia and fully respects the country's sovereignty. In the process of implementation, passport and customs control are ensured, and security is assigned to the Armenian authorities with the presence of border guards and authorized departments.

According to the Vice Speaker, the project will open up new opportunities for railway communication between Armenia and Iran and Russia, and will also create transport links between Russia and Turkey. All processes will take place within the territorial integrity and jurisdiction of Armenia, without delegating sovereign functions.
