The capital of Armenia is among the top five cities in terms of international passenger traffic at Sochi Airport. In 2025, international flights brought record figures: more than 1.8 million passengers, exceeding the 2024 result of 1.7 million.
In total, the airport, owned by GC "Aerodynamics", served 12.5 million people, while the total passenger traffic decreased by almost 9%. Among the leaders in international routes were Istanbul, Antalya, Yerevan, Dubai, and Sharm el-Sheikh, which accounted for over 1.2 million passengers.
The growth in the number of international travelers underscores the attractiveness of Sochi as a destination for foreign tourists, despite the overall decline in passenger traffic on domestic flights.
