Regular gasoline in Armenia also became cheaper

Supplies from Azerbaijan continue to lower fuel prices in the country

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan announced a decrease in the price of Regular gasoline to 420 drams per liter.

He had previously announced a decrease in the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel by 15.7% and 14.6%, respectively, thanks to supplies from Azerbaijan. According to the minister, one of the largest gas station chains purchased Azerbaijani gasoline, which will soon be available for sale at a reduced price.

Since the start of deliveries from Azerbaijan by rail through Georgia in mid-December 2025, a train of 22 cars with 1,218 tons of A95 gasoline has arrived in Armenia. At the beginning of January, another 7,600 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel were en route. Rail deliveries became possible thanks to agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan reached in Washington on August 8, as well as memorandums involving the governments of the United States and Armenia, which stabilizes prices in the domestic market.
