Yandex Armenia has become a member of the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UEICT), one of the country's largest industry associations. Joining the union is intended to expand the company's participation in shaping and developing the national technology ecosystem. To mark the occasion, Yandex Armenia hosted a meeting of new UEICT members at Yandex Hall, where participants presented their priorities and role in the industry.
The event was attended by Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kuwait to Armenia, Nawaf Al-Enezi, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland, Andrea Barbara Baumann. The participants discussed prospects for cooperation between the state, international partners, and the technology business.
By joining UEICT, Yandex Armenia plans to actively participate in the union's joint initiatives, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and support the development of long-term strategic solutions. The company views its participation in the union as a tool for the sustainable development of the ICT industry and for strengthening Armenia's innovation potential.
