From April 1, 2026, all pensions and social benefits in Armenia will be paid exclusively in non-cash form, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reported. Citizens who do not manage to submit an application to change the form of payment before March 5 will be assigned a bank automatically, and it will be impossible to change the bank between March 5 and April 1.
The cards will be delivered by courier service, and if necessary, with the participation of social workers, especially for citizens with disabilities. The Ministry urges pensioners and benefit recipients to apply in advance through the platform https://online.ssa.am or at any territorial center of the Unified Social Service.
