The construction of the Firebird AI factory and data center in Armenia with Nvidia's participation is actively continuing. This was announced by the company's Vice President, Rev Lebaredian, at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, emphasizing that the work is proceeding in full and according to plan.
During the negotiations, special attention was paid to obtaining export licenses for the next batch of high-performance Nvidia chips needed to develop the project's computing infrastructure. The parties noted the importance of timely deliveries to maintain the pace of implementation.
In addition, the prospects for the development of Armenia's technology sector and the integration of artificial intelligence-based solutions into the public administration system were discussed. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of private business in digital transformation, and also supported the initiative to launch an educational program in the field of technology, presented by Lebaredian, confirming the government's readiness to facilitate its implementation.
