Armenia connects to satellite internet: hundreds of Starlink terminals are already in the country

The company equipped schools in remote regions for free and took over the payment of services

In the second half of 2025, 340 Starlink terminals were imported into Armenia. This was announced by Hayrapetyan. This refers to the expansion of the satellite internet infrastructure, which became available in the country in 2025 and is gradually gaining popularity among both businesses and private users.

In addition to commercial deliveries, the company has transferred more than 100 sets of equipment to schools in remote areas of the republic. At the same time, the provider undertook to pay for the annual maintenance of connections, which will allow educational institutions to use high-speed Internet without additional costs.

The expansion of the network of terminals opens up new opportunities for the digitalization of regions where problems with stable access to the network previously persisted.
