Armenia in talks with Lufthansa

A meeting took place in Yerevan between the Head of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, Lusine Gevorgyan, and the Regional Director of the Lufthansa Group, Mohammed Nasri. The parties discussed the development of cooperation and the dynamics of air traffic in recent years, as well as the prospects for further interaction.

According to the department, the participants of the negotiations touched upon the upcoming joint events and emphasized the importance of providing passengers with a high level of service and comfort. At the same time, specific decisions on increasing the frequency of flights or launching new destinations have not yet been announced.

Lufthansa is the largest airline in Germany with basic hubs in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. The carrier operates flights to more than 200 destinations in over 70 countries. The company has been flying to Armenia since the 1990s, the main route being Yerevan - Frankfurt with a frequency of 3-5 times a week depending on the season, providing transit to Europe, the USA and other regions.
