A noticeable increase in electricity production has been recorded in Armenia. According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, in January 2026, the generation volume increased by 18.1% compared to the same month last year.
In total, 1,038.6 million kWh of electricity were produced in the first month of the year. This result reflects the confident dynamics of the industry against the background of increased demand and seasonal factors.
Compared to December 2025, the figure also increased - by 7.1%. Thus, the country's energy sector has been demonstrating steady growth for the second month in a row.
