The development of the first racing cross car has been completed in Armenia as part of the international FIA project "Affordable Cross Car."
This car is being created with minimal costs and using local production, which allows the country to organize its own regional competitions and, in the future, to apply for more prestigious championships.
The visit of the delegation, headed by FIA Secretary General for Sport, Valerio Iacchizzi, also included a discussion on the construction of a motorsport track with the support of the federation. The creation of a cross car and the development of infrastructure should stimulate the popularization of motorsport in Armenia and the training of local pilots for international competitions.
