Today, air traffic between Yerevan and Kuwait has been completely suspended: flights from Kuwait to Yerevan and back have been canceled, according to the online scoreboard of Yerevan's Zvartnots airport. The departure from Yerevan to Kuwait, scheduled for 14:15, did not take place, and the flight from Kuwait, which was supposed to arrive at 13:25, was also canceled.
In addition, flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Yerevan are delayed: the arrival time has been changed to 17:10 instead of 12:25 for the flight from Dubai, and the new time for Abu Dhabi has not yet been specified.
The reason for the cancellations and delays was the closure of the airspace of a number of Persian Gulf countries. Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE have temporarily suspended flights over their territory, which has affected international flight routes in the region.
