Armenia Receives "Brains" for AI: First Batch of Powerful GPUs Arrives in the Country

The "AI Factory Garden" Project Transitions from Words to Real Infrastructure

The first batch of high-performance equipment for artificial intelligence systems has been delivered to Armenia. This was announced by the Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, emphasizing that it concerns GPU solutions for building a modern AI infrastructure.

According to him, the delivery is a practical step in implementing the state concept of "AI Factory Garden", which involves creating data processing centers and computing power of a new generation in the country. The import of equipment is seen as a strategic step in strengthening Armenia's position on the technological map of the region.

The Minister recalled that a meeting was held a few months ago with the management of Eleveight AI, which is implementing the AI data center project in Gagarin. At that time, the parties identified priorities — expanding the computing infrastructure and increasing the availability of technologies. It is expected that the new base will accelerate the digital transformation of the public and private sectors and attract local innovation teams.
