A number of states are expressing interest in the possibility of buying the rights to manage Armenia's railways from Russia, said Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan. According to him, the issue is primarily being discussed with the Russian side, and the Armenian side is awaiting a response.
Simonyan noted that the topic is regularly raised during meetings with ambassadors from different countries, and there is indeed interest in the project. However, there is no concrete decision yet on the transfer of railway management — negotiations are ongoing.
