Large-scale Noragavit overpass being prepared in Yerevan

For 1.5 billion drams

A tender has been announced in Yerevan for the construction of the Noragavit overpass, with a preliminary project cost of 1.5 billion drams, according to Anetta Babayan, advisor to the mayor of the capital. The opening of tender packages is scheduled for March 30, while the project has been announced without preliminary funding, and technical supervision is carried out through the Procurement Department of the Mayor's Office.

After determining the actual cost of the project, the package of documents will be submitted to the government to attract funding. Mayor Tigran Avinyan emphasized that the overpass is aimed at solving the transport problem of the junction connecting the Artashat highway of the M2 interstate highway "North-South" with the 1st street of Noragavit, and the implementation depends on the availability of funds.

The mayor's advisor noted that the mayor's office conducted feasibility studies and prepared an investment program for the project. The overpass should become a key element of the urban infrastructure, improving traffic flow and relieving congested road sections.
