Gasoline in Armenia noticeably cheaper

Prices fell by more than 8%

In Armenia, prices for automotive fuel have significantly decreased over the year. According to the country's Statistical Committee, in February 2026, gasoline became 8.2% cheaper compared to the same month last year, and the cost of diesel fuel decreased by 6.2%.

Compared to January 2026, prices also continued to decline. Gasoline became 2.7% cheaper over the month, and diesel fuel by 3%. At the same time, liquefied hydrocarbon gases, such as propane and butane, on the contrary, significantly increased in price: over the year, their cost increased by 48.3%, although compared to January, they became 7.8% cheaper.

Overall, the situation in the non-food market remains relatively stable. In annual terms, prices increased by 0.9%, but compared to January, a slight decrease was recorded — by 0.2%.
