The Yerevan Municipality has announced a competition for the development of a concept for the new metro station "Surmalu". The aim is to create a conceptual design and urban development plan for the above-ground station, which should appear between the existing stations "Zoravar Andranik" and "Sasuntsi David".
The project involves the preparation of architectural solutions, engineering developments, and all necessary technical documentation. After the completion of these works, the city will be able to proceed to the next stage — planning the construction of the station and its integration into the existing transport system.
Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted through the Armeps platform until March 16. Both Armenian and foreign companies are allowed to participate. A concept prepared by the architectural studio Tarberak has already been presented as one of the possible options for the future station.
