Agriculture in Armenia is beginning to adopt new technologies. In the Amasia community in the Shirak region, the municipality has received modern agrodrones that will be used to cultivate agricultural land. The equipment was provided by the International Organization for Migration, which operates within the UN system.

The new drones are designed for spraying and fertilizing plants with pesticides and other protective agents. The main advantage of this technology is the absence of mechanical impact on the soil and the crops themselves, which often occurs when using traditional agricultural machinery.

The productivity of an agrodrone reaches approximately 10 hectares per hour, which significantly speeds up the cultivation of large areas. It is expected that the use of such solutions will help increase the efficiency of agricultural work and reduce the load on the soil.
