A new batch of Starlink satellite internet equipment has been delivered to Armenia. We are talking about 100 terminals that have been transferred to the government of the country and will be installed in schools that need stable access to the network. This was announced by the Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

According to the minister, the equipment will be installed jointly with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia. First of all, schools in remote settlements where there are problems with traditional communications will get access to satellite Internet.

Ayrapetyan noted that the task of the project is to provide equal digital opportunities for all schoolchildren in the country. Earlier in 2025, 340 Starlink terminals were already delivered to Armenia, and SpaceX satellite Internet services have been available in the country since March last year.
