Azerbaijan sends fuel to Armenia

The new batch includes diesel and Russian fertilizers, and this is not the first delivery

Azerbaijan has sent another batch of petroleum products to Armenia. According to local media reports, it concerns 1984 tons of diesel fuel, which is delivered by a train of 31 cars. At the same time, two wagons with fertilizers from Russia with a total weight of 135 tons transited through the Azerbaijani territory.

Such deliveries became possible after the resumption of transport interaction between the countries. Already in December, the first cargo arrived in the country from Azerbaijan - 22 wagons with 1218 tons of AI-95 gasoline.

Cooperation continued in 2026 as well. On January 7, Azerbaijan sent another 7600 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel to Armenia. In addition, according to the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, the parties agreed on the supply of liquefied gas and bitumen from Russia by rail transit through the territory of Azerbaijan.
