In February 2026, the capitalization of the Armenian stock market increased by 6.53% and reached 478 billion drams. This data was presented by the Armenia Securities Exchange, noting a significant increase in trading activity in several market segments at once.

In the stock market, the trading volume amounted to 427 million drams in 166 transactions, which is 520% more than before. The government bond market also showed significant dynamics: securities worth 34 billion drams were placed on the primary market, and 114 transactions worth over 39 billion drams were carried out on the secondary market, which means an increase of approximately 190%.

Activity was also maintained in other segments. Trading in corporate bonds reached 14 billion drams (+38%), with a total of 1,512 transactions concluded for 195 bonds. The volume of repo transactions exceeded 3.3 billion drams in 39 transactions. On the foreign exchange market, 8 US dollar conversion transactions were carried out for a total of about 1 billion drams, with the closing rate being 377.63 drams per dollar.
