Online service for consumer complaints launched in Armenia

The new tool will allow for quick resolution of disputes with stores and service providers

The "Consumer Assistant" service, designed for filing complaints about goods and services, has been launched in Armenia. This was announced by the head of the RA Commission for the Protection of Competition and Consumer Interests, Gegham Gevorgyan. With the help of the platform, citizens will be able to apply in case of problems with purchases, for example, if the goods are not accepted back or they turn out to be of poor quality.

To file a complaint, you need to visit commission.am or call the Commission and fill out a simple form. The main requirement is the availability of a receipt for the purchased goods.

After registering the appeal, it is immediately sent to the company or store, and if the problem is not resolved within 14 days, the Commission takes over the issue and ensures its resolution. The new service should make the process of protecting consumer rights faster and more transparent.
