As part of the MWC Barcelona exhibition, the Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Ruben Simonyan, met with the management of OpenChip, including Vice President of Strategic Alliances Teresa Jama and Director of Hardware Architecture Violante Moschiano. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the prospects of cooperation in Armenia's developing technological ecosystem and the semiconductor technology sector.
Simonyan presented the potential of Armenian engineers and government initiatives to train a new generation of specialists in the field of semiconductors. He emphasized that the country's universities and research centers are a reliable base of qualified personnel ready to work on international projects.
Representatives of OpenChip expressed interest in visiting Armenia to study the country's technological achievements and industry support programs, and discussed opportunities for further strategic cooperation, including exchange of experience and potential investments.
