Armenia has returned to discussing the idea of building a railway line to Zvartnots Airport. The issue was raised at a meeting between Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan and Italian Ambassador Alessandro Ferranti.
The parties discussed the prospects for the project, including the possible participation of Italian companies. The discussion revolves around creating a transport solution that will simplify access to the country's main air harbor and reduce the load on highways.
The initiative is in the discussion stage, but the authorities are already working on cooperation options with foreign partners. If implemented, the project could be an important step in modernizing transport infrastructure and improving the convenience of travel for passengers.
