A Unique Scientific Venue for Children to Appear in the Center of Yerevan: A 6-Meter Tower and Interactive Elements

Play and science will unite in a new project that will open in the spring

Construction of a new playground will start in Yerevan, in the Misak Manushyan Park. The project is being implemented by the Keron Foundation in conjunction with Paper Story, with the support of the Kentron district administration. The space, with an area of about 700 square meters, will become a modern public facility with an emphasis on learning through play.

The central element will be a 6-meter-high play tower, as well as interactive zones dedicated to physics, astronomy, and engineering. The project continues a series of initiatives to update urban spaces: similar venues have already appeared in the Ring Park and the Khachkar Park.

The new venue will be called "Armenian Inventors: Science from Within" and will be aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old. It is aimed at developing not only physical activity, but also interest in science. The opening is scheduled for the spring of 2026, the design was prepared by the UrUrban studio, and the construction will be carried out by DS Vent.
