Armenia's high-tech sector is showing rapid growth: at the end of 2025, its turnover exceeded 1 trillion drams. For comparison, a year earlier the figure was at the level of about 942 billion drams. This was announced by the Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan at a meeting of the parliamentary commission on economic issues.
The dynamics in the number of market participants is no less noticeable. In 2025, 10,778 companies were already operating in the IT sector, while at the end of 2024 there were 8,072. Thus, the industry shows not only revenue growth, but also active business expansion.
The increase in turnover and the number of companies indicates the continued development of the country's technological ecosystem. The sector is strengthening its position as one of the key drivers of the economy, attracting new projects and investments.
