Cyber Shield Activated: Armenia Strengthens Protection Against Digital Threats at the State Level

The recently adopted Law on Cybersecurity should give an additional impetus to the industry

Armenia is consistently developing a cybersecurity system, focusing on integrated solutions and strengthening the institutional framework. This was stated by Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan, emphasizing that the protection of the digital environment is becoming one of the key priorities of the country.

According to him, cybersecurity plays an important role not only in ensuring national security, but also in the sustainable development of the digital economy. The focus is on the introduction of systemic protection mechanisms and increasing the resilience of critical information infrastructure.

The recently adopted Law on Cybersecurity, which forms the basis for further development, should give an additional impetus to the industry. The authorities are also focusing on coordinating the efforts of the state, business and international partners to build an effective and modern cyber defense system.
