Negotiation Deadline for "Electric Networks of Armenia" Postponed Until End of May

What Happens Next?

David Kazinyan, former acting CEO of CJSC "Electric Networks of Armenia," announced that the negotiation phase has been extended until May 25.

After this date, an initiative to recognize the company as an object of priority public interest is possible. Kazinyan emphasized that significant progress in the dialogue between the owners of ENA and the Armenian government should not be expected, stating: "I do not see a basis for negotiations."

The court refused to involve the interim manager of ENA, Romanos Petrosyan, and the chairman of the RAUC, Mesrop Mesropyan, as witnesses. According to Kazinyan, their testimonies would have been key to clarifying the procedure for appointing a manager and previously made statements. The dispute is also being considered in the Stockholm International Arbitration Court, where, according to Kazinyan, "justice will prevail."

This situation goes beyond the scope of one company. Kazinyan noted that the outcome of negotiations and arbitration processes directly affects Armenia's investment attractiveness and confidence in public administration, making the issue fateful for the entire country's economy.
