The Cyberpolice of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reported a fraudulent scheme related to the installation of applications that supposedly improve the quality of 5G communication.
«If you receive a call from a mobile operator (Ucom, Team Telecom, Viva Armenia) offering to install an application on your phone to improve the quality of communication, do not trust it,» the department warned.
According to the police, attackers use such applications to gain access to citizens' bank accounts in order to steal money.
