Synopsys has reaffirmed its commitment to the development of education and technology in Armenia. Senior Vice President of the company, Raja Tabet, stated that the STEM and artificial intelligence programs implemented in universities and high schools help shape a new generation of engineers and strengthen the country's technological ecosystem.
The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, emphasized that Synopsys' long-term presence creates high added value, stimulating the development of the semiconductor industry, AI-based chip design, and the formation of engineering potential. The company's strategic partnership with the state is based on the principles of public-private cooperation and investment support.
Hayrapetyan also spoke about the strategic projects Firebird and Eleveight AI, which are aimed at creating infrastructure for high-performance computing and data processing. The state plans to develop an "AI data center park", opening up opportunities for both local and international technology companies.
