Acba Bank and Amundi-Acba Asset Management have invested $45 million in the creation of an AI factory and data center for Firebird. According to the CEO of Acba Bank, Hakob Andreasyan, the project will open new horizons for the country and allow Armenia to occupy a significant place on the world technological map. Amundi-Acba not only financed the project, but also conducted a detailed analysis of it.
The U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia, David Allen, emphasized that the collaboration demonstrates the growth of investments and partnerships, where American technologies are combined with Armenian technological potential. The project will create new jobs and stimulate the economy, and the international authorization to use advanced semiconductor technologies highlights Armenia on the global stage.
The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, noted that the project is turning from a dream into reality, and the CEO of Firebird, Alexander Yesayan, added that the joint deal of $300 million has become one of the largest in the history of Armenia. Of the total amount, Acba Bank invested $25 million, Amundi-Acba — $20 million.
