Armenia has reached a preliminary agreement with the Chinese e-commerce platform Temu, which will allow local manufacturers to sell their goods abroad. According to Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, the test period for Armenian companies will start in September, and the details of the cooperation remain confidential.
Previously, residents of Armenia could only buy products on Temu, while local manufacturers did not have the opportunity to present their products on the platform. The new agreement will change the situation, providing companies from the country with direct access to an international audience.
The largest market for Temu remains the United States, and the platform is also actively used in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, and Canada. It is expected that the participation of Armenian manufacturers will expand exports and strengthen Armenia's presence in global marketplaces.
