Armenia's industry is showing a sharp increase in early 2026: in January–February, production volume increased by 17.2% and reached approximately $1.3 billion. The main contribution came from the manufacturing industry, which added 14.5%, as well as the mining sector, where growth amounted to an impressive 42.6%.
The absolute leader was the chemical industry, which showed a jump of almost 3 times (+190%). A significant increase was also recorded in metallurgy (+46.9%) and the extraction of metal ores (+45.6%). At the same time, the production of beverages (+18.4%) and clothing (+17.6%) is growing steadily, which indicates the expansion of both the raw materials and consumer segments.
However, not all industries show the same dynamics. The food industry grew by only 1.1%, and the tobacco industry by 2.5%. But the production of jewelry increased immediately by 55%, exceeding the $15 million mark, which indicates a revival of demand and export activity in the premium segment.
