Team Telecom Armenia has completed the replacement of the 2G network throughout Armenia, becoming the first operator in the Caucasus to implement such a large-scale upgrade. As part of the project, more than 1,000 base stations now operate exclusively on modern communication standards, providing subscribers with higher speed, reliability and digital security.
For users of old 2G devices, the company organized the replacement of phones: more than 20,000 subscribers have already taken advantage of the offer, the possibility of updating remains open. The released frequencies and network resources are now used to expand 4G and 5G coverage throughout the country.
CEO of Team Telecom Armenia, Hayk Yesayan, emphasized that the transition to new technologies not only modernized the infrastructure, but also increased energy efficiency and the level of digital protection. Subscribers can now simultaneously use voice communication and Internet services throughout Armenia.
