The Armenian Trace in the Forbes List: From Billionaires to Reality Stars

Forbes included Ernekian, Karapetyan, Vardanyan, and Kardashian in the ranking of the world's richest people

Forbes magazine has published its 40th annual global ranking of the world's wealthiest individuals for 2026. The list includes a record number of billionaires – 3,428 people, with their combined wealth reaching $20.1 trillion. Among them are representatives of Armenian origin, working in various countries and industries.

Among the participants in the ranking are Eduardo Eurnekian (891st place, $4.6 billion), Samvel Karapetyan (1044th place, $4.1 billion), Ruben Vardanyan (2858th place, $1.3 billion), as well as Kim Kardashian (2177th place, $1.9 billion), whom the publication categorizes as celebrity billionaires. The list also includes entrepreneurs and investors associated with the technology and financial sectors.

In addition, the ranking includes Albert Avdolyan ($7.1 billion, 557th place), Andrey Andreev ($2.6 billion), Noubar Afeyan ($1.9 billion), and Artyom Khachatryan ($1.8 billion). The growth of their fortunes reflects both the development of global business and the increasing role of investments in technological and infrastructure projects.
