Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the start of deliveries of medical robots to the country, designed for surgical operations. According to him, we are talking about high-tech equipment, which is purchased under a state leasing program and should improve the quality of medical care.
According to the head of government, the introduction of such systems has become part of a broader modernization of healthcare. He stressed that participants in the universal health insurance system will be able to count on a refund of part of the funds, and the industry itself is gradually moving to a model based on modern technologies and automation.
Pashinyan also stated that the processes of "industrialization" affect not only medicine, but also agriculture. According to him, the introduction of robotic solutions and digital technologies should increase the efficiency of key sectors of the economy and reduce dependence on manual labor.
