Shirak Avia has launched scheduled flights on the Yerevan–Astana–Yerevan route. The first flight took place on April 20, according to the press service of Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport. The new destination has become part of the carrier's expanding international route network.
Flights will operate once a week, on Mondays. This gives passengers a direct connection between the capitals of Armenia and Kazakhstan, making business and leisure travel between the two countries easier.
Shirak Avia was registered in 2019 and received its certificate to operate scheduled commercial flights in 2021. Based in Yerevan and using Zvartnots Airport, the airline also operates flights via Shirak Airport in Gyumri, gradually expanding its flight geography.
