Armenia's telecom sector paid almost 10 billion drams in taxes for the quarter

Viva Armenia was the leader, followed by Ucom and Telecom Armenia

Mobile and internet operators in Armenia transferred 9.73 billion drams in taxes and duties to the budget following the results of the first quarter of 2026. The main part of the revenues — 9.69 billion drams — was ensured by the tax authorities, while another 34.7 million drams came from customs payments.

The leader among telecom companies was Viva Armenia with payments of 4.11 billion drams and 16th place in the overall ranking. Next come Ucom (2.87 billion drams, 22nd place) and Telecom Armenia (2.18 billion drams, 31st place). GNC-ALFA rounds out the list with 555.1 million drams.

Overall, the country's 1,000 largest taxpayers generated revenues totaling more than 459.3 billion drams. Among the leaders are Mobile Center Art, Gazprom Armenia, and the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, reflecting the key role of large companies in shaping budget revenues.
