Social networks and AI services are displacing traditional platforms, while local sites remain leaders

A noticeable change in users' digital habits has been recorded in Armenia. According to Ahrefs analytics for March 2026, Wikipedia remains the most visited website with approximately 1.3 million visits. The local platform List.am is in second place, and ChatGPT unexpectedly took third place, surpassing even video hosting sites and social networks.

YouTube and Facebook follow, but their audience is smaller than the leaders. The top ten also include Google, Mail.ru, Instagram*, and Armenian services Goodwin and Rate.am. This picture shows a balance between global platforms and local projects, which continue to hold a significant share of traffic.

In the second part of the ranking, the presence of Russian resources is noticeable – from Ok.ru to Yandex and Kinopoisk, as well as niche services like Canva and Pinterest. Overall, the statistics reflect a trend: users are increasingly turning to AI tools and practical online services, while not abandoning familiar social networks and regional sites.
