Hayk Karapetyan, head of Ozon in Armenia, reported temporary difficulties with the delivery of goods from Armenia to Russia, which arose due to changes in customs clearance.
To avoid order cancellations due to long delivery times, the company temporarily hid the product cards for these items from buyers in the Russian Federation. However, all goods from Armenian sellers already in Ozon's warehouses in Russia continue to be sold without restrictions.
Sales within Armenia are also proceeding in full — buyers see and can order goods from local sellers as usual. The company is working to restore logistics chains and plans to return the temporarily hidden items in the near future.
Information about the suspension of sales of Armenian goods appeared today in the media and social networks. Ozon confirmed that the problem is temporary and is solely related to new customs requirements.
