EU invested hundreds of millions: Armenian business received a powerful growth impetus

Investments have already created thousands of jobs and strengthened the country's export positions

The European Union has directed over €400 million to Armenia's private sector over the past 2 years. This was stated by the Head of the EU Delegation to Yerevan, Vassilis Maragos, noting that small and medium-sized businesses were the key recipients of support.

According to him, in 2024 alone, programs with the participation of the European Union helped create over 27,000 jobs. Companies that received funding also showed an export growth of 7.2%, which indicates a strengthening of their positions in foreign markets.

Maragos emphasized that supporting entrepreneurship remains one of the priorities of cooperation. Such investments are considered an important factor in strengthening economic stability and further developing the business environment in the country.
