Armenia and Spain Strengthen Cooperation in Energy Sector

Pashinyan and Sánchez Discuss Joint Projects and Expanding Ties with the EU

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, during which the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to energy cooperation.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit, where leaders considered prospects for joint projects and strengthening cooperation in energy. This includes both traditional sources and opportunities for developing new directions.

In addition, the parties touched upon issues of expanding partnership with the European Union. Yerevan expects that intensifying dialogue with European countries will help accelerate the modernization of the energy sector and strengthen integration into regional projects.
